ICW Executive Board
Peter J. Kirschbauer
As of January 1, 2010, Peter J. Kirschbauer is the new Chief Executive Officer of InterComponentWare AG (ICW). There he will bring to the plate his experiences gathered in a 27-year long successful career at SAP. Mr. Kirschbauer will personally be responsible for the business sections Finance & Administration as well as Sales & Marketing.
Among his many responsibilities at SAP, Mr. Kirschbauer proved himself in several leadership positions. He was for instance in charge of the worldwide SAP business field Industry Solutions. In particular, this sector included solutions for the service sectors care, telecommunication, public services including the health sector, banks and insurers, the retail industry, logistics services and professional services. Prior to making the change to ICW, Mr. Kirschbauer was in charge of the worldwide SAP sector Custom Development, which handles the development of customer-specific software solutions. This business sector was made up of 2,700 employees.
Peter J. Kirschbauer received a degree in computer sciences from the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe in 1982. Upon receiving his degree he started his career with SAP, a company then still in its infancy.
Jörg Stadler
In 2009 Jörg Stadler was nominated to the ICW Executive Board as Chief Product Officer (CPO). He is responsible for ICW products. Jörg Stadler studied medical information sciences at the Heidelberg University, with emphasis on business administration. After completing his studies he worked for five years in the ambulatory health care sector as a self-employed IT consultant. After that he was head of IT department at a 1200-bed hospital, where he introduced a new management software. He also implemented an electronic health record there capable of storing digitally more than 90 percent of the data generated for individual patients. At the same time he also was deputy head of the "cross-sector digital patient record" working group of the federal state of Baden Württemberg's ministry for social affairs.
In 2001 he initiated the "Symposium on Digital Medical Records" in Wiesloch. This event, which has been held four times so far, attracted as many as 360 participants and 28 exhibitors.
In 2003 he moved to ICW as a project manager, where he took over the Infrastructure Components product line in 2005. As ICW's representative with the bIT4health consortium, he worked on the design of the framework architecture for the electronic health card. There his work primarily focused on process modeling, and he was additionally responsible for designing a strategy to implement the electronic health card.
