In August 2003, InterComponentWare AG (ICW) was awarded the participation in the bIT4health consortium by the German Federal Ministry for Health and Social Security for preparing the national introduction of the electronic health card together with its partners.

Goal

Development of an open eHealth framework architecture as well as a security infrastructure for the communication in the health care system
